Teaching /Learning Methods

Self-Paced

This delivery method is entirely an online self-managed approach with no lectures. We provide our learners support throughout the learning pathway via the learning management system (LMS) which provides lesson materials, recorded lectures, and other learning resources.

 

Registration

Once registered, a student is expected to start the program and complete it successfully within the first offering. However, for any student who is not successful in the first offering, the period of registration will be valid only for another two consecutive offerings of the program.

Final Examination 50%

 

Awarding of Grades

The grades are awarded as follows. The passing mark for each course will be 40%, which is equivalent to a Grade ‘C’.

 A* 90-100
A 70 -89
B 55-69
C 40-54
F 39-0

 

Those who are not successful in achieving a passing grade at the first attempt will be allowed to sit the final examination at the subsequent offer of the course. A maximum number of two retake attempts are allowed for each course. To qualify for the Certificate in Human Resource Management, a student needs to obtain a minimum of a ‘C’ grade in each course.
